Weekend in Montreal...

What a weekend! We toured up the 401 to see Andrea in Montreal and see the Just for Laughs festival.

On Saturday, we climbed up to St. Joseph’s cathedral and explored up there. Pretty good views of the north west part of the city. We then wandered down St. Denis to St. Catherine to see the sights. The festival was in full swing with lots of wild things and people wandering around. Saturday night we went to see one of the dirtiest comics that I have ever heard. Some funny stuff and lots of shocking stuff. We topped off the evening with a great dessert at a cafe that only serves chocolate! Almost an overdose.

Sunday morning we had a great breakfast of crepes to power us for the rest of the day. It was a scorcher in Montréal as we wandered through the old city. We finished off the day some Jewish bagels and a tour to the top of the big hill.

Pretty interesting weekend. It was pretty well filth sandwiched between churches. Only in Montreal.

Muz's Cottage!

We welcomed Muz home from tree planting by invading his cottage. What an amazing weekend. It was hot, sunny and lots of fun. Soccer on the beach is like playing with a sandpaper ball... Nothing like out of shape guys running around trying to recapture the glory days...
